Even Hannity?
I am so disappointed in Fox News. The last 24 hours were crucial to defeating cap & trade. Fox News should have been rallying the troops. Instead it was wall-to-wall Michael Jackson coverage. Even tonight, Hannity is leading with Jackson! Are you f---ing kidding me?
My thoughts on cap & trade
Go ahead and pass it, you idiots. You'll all get thrown out in the next election.
This song is dedicated to South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford
... the second potential Republican presidential candidate in a week to piss away his political career over an affair.
Yeah ... it's all a big joke
I understand ths is tradition, but our great leader is poking fun at a lot of sensitive issues. This guy doesn't have a good sense of when to not go too far. Presidential? Nope.
David Letterman is a pathetic, angry, old man
If you don't know the setup, the other day David Letterman made an ill-advised joke about a baseball player "knocking up" Sarah Palin's daughter during a Yankee game. The big problem with that joke: Sarah Palin attended the Yankee game in question with her 14-year-old daughter. After the Palins struck back, Letterman defended himself on the basis that his crude awful joke about knocking up a teenager was really about Palin's 18-year-old, and therefore legal, daughter. Great defense Dave! That's a lot better.
It has been a real disappointment over the years watching Letterman become what he is now. Some of my best TV memories are staying up late as a kid to see what crazy thing Dave would do next ... on his NBC show. Now he's just pathetic - and like a lot of liberals, I think he either fears Sarah Palin, or he has guilt that she's espousing the values Letterman knows he should be living by, but doesn't. Is that fair? Probably not, but Letterman's last joke was about raping a 14-year-old girl, so the bar's already pretty low.
Hey Dave, here's a message from one of your former fans. Go home and enjoy your money. You no longer serve a purpose.
Ha ... Terry McAuliffe got his ass kicked
Virginia Governor Results
R. Creigh Deeds-158,837-50%
Terry R. McAuliffe-84,465-26%
Brian J. Moran-75,828-24%
Loser! This was almost as enjoyable as seeing Tom Daschle lose his senate seats a few years back.
Congressman Ted Poe asks the tough questions on Chrysler closings
You're right Ted ... it's political.
Hey - look who decided to show up for work
Check it out. Our governor managed to flap his gums for a whole 4 minutes and 52 seconds - which is more time than he spent trying to keep NCR in Dayton.
Isn't it amazing that every democrat budget is always about the kids? Strickland and the democrat-controlled house put forth bloated budgets, cynically designed to make things look good in the short-term, through the 2010 election, and then blow up at some later date. In the senate, the Republicans are doing what Republicans are supposed to do: cutting the spending. Strickland wants his big fat porky budget, and is now whining that the senate Republicans are hurting the kids. Pathetic!
If you care to watch - and I could understand if you didn't - here's Ted (I have resized the video to match the strength of the message).
Lame ass democrats are playing the only card they have against John Kasich ... and it's not a good one
Unbelievable. I'm reading one of my favorite conservative blogs, and I bump into the ad below. There's a lead-in that reads: "Take a look ..."
Click the link (on the other site) and you will be directed to the ODP's ridiculous anti-Kasich website.
The entire premise of the website is that John Kasich once had a "Wall Street" job with Lehman Brothers, and therefore he must be a bad guy. This is class warfare at its worst ... i.e. you regular folks can't trust those Wall Street guys.
The dems' dossier on Kasich is pretty thin when you consider that one of their top attack headlines is, "While Working for Lehman, Kasich Commuted From Columbus to New York City Regularly." Really?? Scandalous!! I've never heard of somebody having to travel out-of town for their job.
Of course, these are the arguments the dems have to make when their own guy is driving large corporations out of the state on a weekly basis.
I love Dick Cheney too
Observation: if the DNC thought Dick Cheney's press tour was helping them, they wouldn't be intervening. They's sit quietly by and let it continue. Instead, their mocking ad is verification that Cheney is hurting them with his comments. Good job Dick!
